Registration: Registration passes are for the full weekend. Partial passes are not sold. Passes may not be shared. Registration passes are non-refundable.

Children: Attendees must be 14 years of age or older. Attendees aged 14-17 must have a responsible guardian present at all times. Note: For OtonaCon 2024, we will be allowing children aged 8-13 on Sunday. Parental supervision is required.

Sportsmanship: Play to win, but having fun is the most important thing. Treat others with respect at all times.
​
Photos or Video: Please ask permission before including an attendee in a picture or video.
Privacy: We will not share or sell any of your personal information.

Anti-Harassment Policies and Procedures: OtonaCon Tabletop Events is committed to fostering a harassment-free environments where all attendees, staff, vendors, guests, and volunteers are treated with respect and dignity.
This includes protecting our attendees, staff, vendors, guests, and volunteers from harassment based on race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, family status, disability or pardoned conviction.
Harassment at any OtonaCon Tabletop Event will not tolerated. Anyone who fails to adhere to these standards will be subject to the following actions:

Verbal warning

Revocation of event pass with no refund offered.

Reported to and turned over to local authorities.
The first step will, hopefully, be mediation by OtonaCon Tabletop Event staff to diffuse and assist in correcting the situation.

Harassment is:

offending or humiliating someone physically or verbally;

threatening or intimidating someone; or
-
making unwelcome jokes or comments about someone’s race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, family status, disability or pardoned conviction.
Sexual harassment is:

offensive or humiliating behaviour that is related to a person’s sex; or
-
behaviour of a sexual nature that creates an intimidating, unwelcome, hostile or offensive environment;

Inclusion Policy: OtonaCon Tabletop Events strives to create a safe and inclusive space that welcomes gamers from all walks of life. We hope to build a community space that includes all gamers.

We celebrate all races, ethnicities, body-types, the full spectrum of genders, all sexual identities, and persons with a range of abilities and ability challenges. While this list of identities is not complete or perfect, we function with a spirit of inclusiveness.

Covid Protocols: We will be following the Provincial and Medical Guidelines for Covid protocols. We will not be requiring proof of vaccination at this point. Masks will not be required, those we are recommending people wear them while moving around the convention.

Note, that depending on provincial mandates towards the end of May and into early June proof of vaccination and masks may be required. If you buy a ticket and the rules change and you can no longer attend, I will refund your ticket.
